Mr. Raymond F. Soucek- President

Raymond F Soucek has an undergraduate degree from Loras College and a master's degree in human services from Concordia University in River Forest, IL. He is a certified alcohol supervisor and drug addiction counselor. He has worked in the addiction field since 1976. In 1989, he was named Executive director and then president of Haymarket Center.

Mr. Donald E. Musil- Executive Vice President

Mr Musil's Bachelor of Science degree is from Carroll College, Waukesha, Wisconsin with a major in Psychology. He obtained his Master of Arts Degree, Department of Social Sciences with a concentration in Applied and Experimental Behavior Analysis, from The University of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Anthony A. Cole- Vice President

A professional with over 25 years experience, serves as the Vice President of Haymarket Center, the largest provider of substance abuse treatment services in metropolitan Chicago and Cook County. He has extensive experience in public policy, advocacy, program development and management. This skill set, combined with a Masters Degree in Alcohol and Drug studies and a certificate in Non-Profit Management, has been the basis for his success in the field.He has served on the Boards of the Illinois Alcoholism and Drug Dependency Association (IADDA), Community Behavioral Healthcare Association (CBHA), and the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP), as well as the National Therapeutic Communities of America (TCA) and the City Club of Chicago. Currently, Mr. Cole serves as IADDA’s board secretary and chairman of their Government Relations Committee.

Dr. Dan Lustig- Vice President

Dr. Lustig has more than 20 years of experience in the field of addictions.  In 2005 he completed a research study examining the Factors Related to Changes in African American Women Participating in Substance Abuse Treatment.  He currently sits on numerous committees evaluating methamphetamine and its clinical interventions statewide.  In addition to his advocacy, service work, and expertise in psychology, Dr. Lustig holds certifications in: mentally ill substance abusers (MISA II), and is a certified substance abuse counselor (CADC).

Dr. Jeffrey M. Tilkin M.D.- Vice President-Medical


Ms. Anna Kuzak- Controller

Anna Kuzak received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from DeVry University in Addison, Illinois.  She joined our team in June of 2002 and currently serves as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of the McDermott Center. Previously, Anna Kuzak served as Accountant and Senior Accountant.  She values the opportunity to work with great people and facing new opportunities each day to resolve challenges.


Rev Dr. William E. Miller- Director of Pastoral Services

Reverend Bill Miller received his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.

He is certified as an alcohol and other drug counseling supervisor in the state of Illinois. He is ordained by the Evangelical Free Church of America. He has worked in the field of addiction treatment for twenty-eight years as a counselor/chaplain, a program developer, coordinator, director, and a consultant.


Mr. Jeffrey Collord - Director of Grants

Mr. Collord joined Haymarket Center in January, 2007 after two years with the Illinois Department of Human Services, Office of Grants Administration. He brings 14 years grants experience in substance abuse treatment, correctional programming and other human services. Previously, Mr. Collord was a Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also worked in the Corporate Trust Department of LaSalle National Bank. Mr. Collord has a Master’s degree in English and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

Mr. Luther J. Phillips- Director of Facilities

Mr. Phillip's is the first employee of Haymarket Center hired by Cofounder Monsignor Ignatius D. McDermott in 1974. Prior to his working at Haymarket Center., Mr. Phillips worked at the Chicago Christian Industrial League (CCIL). He was also in charge of maintenance and housekeeping at the Sousa Shelter on the near west side of Chicago, also under Father Mac's directions.


Ms. Pat Payne- Director of Human Resources



Ms. Patricia A. Richardson-Director of Information Systems

Patricia Richardson received her formal education from the Chicago State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. Her technical expertise comes from 25 years of experience, working as an IT professional in Fortune 500 companies and eight years, as a female entrepreneur, President of R & R Systems Consultant, Inc. For the past 4½ she has served as the IS Director at Haymarket Center, a position that allows her to do her “Life Work” the combination of technology and servicing the community.
