MATER HALL A

3 Child Development Specialists (A)

REQUIREMENTS:

A.A. Degree from an accredited college or university in related field preferred, minimum 6 hours of early childhood development required, or an equivalent combination of training and experience

Must be knowledgeable about issues regarding substance abuse, childcare, parenting skills and abuse prevention for families

Must pass DCFS Background Check

Ability to adhere to professional code of ethics

1 Billing Liaison

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent, some college courses preferred

Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in the billing functions of a behavioral health facility

Good Communication skills, both verbal and written

High ethical standards and sound judgment in dealing with confidential information

Self-starter, detail oriented, good decision making skills, and seeks supervision when needed

Must be able to prioritize multiple billing deadlines

Knowledge of substance abuse preferred

 

1 Case Aide 3 rd shift

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge in substance abuse or related field

Good verbal and communication skills

Proficiency in reading and writing

Able to work effectively on a team

Ability to adhere to professional code of ethics

 

HEALTH EDUCATION

1 HOPWA Case Manager

1 Ryan White Case Manager

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience in working with Substance abuse and HIV patients required

High School Diploma / GED equivalent required

Bachelor’s Degree in social services or health related field preferred

Must have successfully completed an approved training program for HIV / AIDS through the

Department of Chicago Public Health

Possess a valid Illinois driver’s license

Submit weekly reports, and attend all process groups

Must have previous experience in outreach services / HIV-related services

IAODAPCA certification preferred

Thorough knowledge of HIV / AIDS testing and status confidentiality

Previous case management experience beneficial

 

MISA RECOVERY HOME

1 Recovery Home Specialist

REQUIREMENTS:

High School graduate or equivalent

Knowledge of substance abuse or related subjects

Good verbal and communication skills

Proficient in reading and writing

Ability to adhere to professional code of ethics

Drivers License preferred but not mandatory

Ability to adhere to professional code of ethics

General computer literacy is mandatory

Experience with the mental health population

 

ADOLESCENT OUTPATIENT

1 Counselor

REQUIREMENTS:

CADC

Valid Driver’s License

High School diploma or equivalent

Knowledge and ability to perform all “Core Functions”

Ability to handle multiple assignments at once

Ability to adhere to professional code of ethics

General computer literacy is mandatory

Prior experience with adolescent population

 

MEN’S DETOX

Detox Specialist (1)

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge in substance abuse or related field

1 Residential Manager 2 nd Shift

REQUIREMENTS:

RAPID STABILIZATION PROGRAM

1 Recovery Coach

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have valid Driver’s License

Able to empathize with clients, focusing on and reinforcing positive strengths and behaviors

Able to work with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds

Comfortable working independently in community settings

Able to work flexible hours

Able to connect clients who have various needs to a range of community resources

High School Diploma or equivalent

Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred

Knowledge in substance abuse or related field

Familiar with case management services and able to apply them to recovery management

Must have passed IAODAPCA certification test at either CARS or CADC level and needs only to fulfill work requirement to become certified

Good verbal and communication skills. Proficiency in reading and writing

MEDICAL DETOX

1 Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN in this state,

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when necessary

Must be able to relate information concerning a patient condition

Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day

Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner

Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position

Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable the senses to function

Adequately, to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met (i.e.

accurately read measurements on patient related equipment such as thermometers,

monitors, and gauges

Must be able to function independently, have personal integrity, flexibility and the ability

to work effectively with patients, staff personnel, and support agencies

Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability

Must be able to relate and work with the disabled, ill, elderly, emotionally upset, and at

times hostile people within the facility

Must be able to lift, push pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds

Must be able to assist with the evacuation of patients

Nurse is at risk for exposure to blood and body fluids when actively providing nursing

care to patients

Performance of administrative duties results in minimal exposure risk

WHOLLY INNOCENCE

1 Lead Teacher

REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor’s Degree Early Childhood Education or related area, or Associate Degree, with experience required

CDA and previous experience in day care center, or related area required, preferably

with a Social Service agency

Must possess or be willing to obtain First Aid and Mildly Infectious Disease Certification within first month of employment

Extensive knowledge of Child Development and Early Childhood education required.

Knowledge of substance abuse preferred

Must have good decision making skills, sound judgment in dealing with young children and parents, and a sense of professionalism

Must have high ethical standards particular in dealing with families in crisis

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Ability to deal positively with others both children and adults

Must be a team player

 

CENTRAL INTAKE

1 Wait Room Monitor (6 month temp)

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge in substance abuse or related field
