MATER HALL

1 Child Development Specialist (1A)

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in related field preferred, minimum 6 hours of early childhood development required, or an equivalent combination of training and experience

Must be knowledgeable about issues regarding substance abuse, childcare, parenting skills and abuse prevention for families

Must pass DCFS Background Check

Ability to adhere to professional code of ethics

1 Milieu Tech (B)

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge of substance abuse and client care

Some computer skills

Ability to adhere to professional code of ethics

2 Case Managers

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Driver’s License

High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge in substance abuse or related field

Good verbal and communication skills. Proficiency in reading and writing

1 Case Aide

MEDICAL DETOX

3 Float Pool Nurses (LPN’S) / 1 Full-Time LPN

REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN in this state

Must posses the ability to make independent decisions when necessary

Must be able to relate information concerning a patient/resident condition

Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day

Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position

Must be able to function independently, have personal integrity, flexibility and the ability to work effectively with patients, staff personnel, and support agencies

1 Teacher’s Assistant

REQUIREMENTS:

Assist the Teachers with the development and execution of lesson plans, classroom activities, and age appropriate learning experiences

Communicates with parents on a daily basis and through parent teacher conferences Participates in ongoing consultations with Athey Hall, Sangamon House, and Women’s Outpatient Staff

Assists in maintaining neatness and order in the day care facility

Follows health care, safety and standard operating policies

Provide assistance as needed when there is a staff shortage within the program

Posts information to records and completes required reports; files records and reports, maintains files

Completes all necessary documentation on a timely basis

Participates in appropriate networking and public relations activities

Performs other job duties as assigned

PASTORAL SERVICES

1 Pastoral Counselor

REQUIREMENTS:

Coordinate and facilitate the various lecturers and group facilitators for the Faith-Based Treatment track

 

Verify that all lectures and groups for each day of the Faith-Based track (Tuesdays and Thursdays) are covered by appropriate staff members

 

Plan, coordinate, and facilitate the transportation of Haymarket Center clients to external spiritual events such as Revivals, Prayer Breakfasts, special spiritually orientated speakers, etc

Plan and coordinate spiritual retreats for Haymarket Center clients

Provide Pastoral Services for a minimum of two inpatient units. This consists of providing spirituality lectures, Bibles studies, and individual pastoral counseling as needed by the clients and staff of the units

 

Provide educational lectures and workshops for local churches on how to provide appropriate care, assistance and spiritual direction for addicted members and/or families of their community and/or parish

Assist Haymarket Center clients seeking affiliation with local churches to find an appropriate local church to attend once leaving a Haymarket Center’s inpatient program

 

Work related to the Faith-Based Treatment track, external spiritual events, and retreats for clients, spiritual issues related to providing Pastoral Services of the units, and helping clients affiliate with local churches

 

Involvement in the scheduling of services on the units: the Supervisor or Coordinator of that unit

Providing educational lectures and workshops for local churches and pastors’ ministerial: the Community Relations Coordinator

 

CASE MANAGEMENT

Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records

Answers and screens manager’s telephone calls, and arranges conference calls

Coordinates manager’s schedule and makes appointments

Greets scheduled visitors and conducts to appropriate are or person

Conducts research, and compiles and types statistical reports

Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities, and records and transcribes minutes of meetings

Make copies of correspondence or other printed materials

Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes

Orders and maintains supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance

MAINTENANCE

1 Housekeeper

REQUIREMENTS:

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Able to relate well with others

Some experience in general housekeeping preferred

Able to push 30 – 60 lbs. power cleaning appliance

Able to lift up to 30 lbs of trash and supplies

 

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT
