Club and Other Drug Awareness (CODA)

The CODA program began as a "pilot" in 2002 at Haymarket West. It was designed to serve adolescents and adults who are involved in the criminal justice and suspected of use/abuse of substances. To be found appropriate for this early intervention, education and assessment fifteen (15) hour program (3/3 hour classes and 4 individual sessions), the individual must be court referred, have completed an "initial" assessment for which no "specific" diagnosis could be ascertained, and have no history of previous treatment. Instruction is offered in English and Spanish.
