Advocacy Announcements & News Events Video Library

Haymarket Center conducts advocacy on issues directly related to policy and funding for substance use disorders and mental health prevention, treatment, and recovery. We advocate and engage in policy-making discussions at federal, state, county, city and local levels. Our goal is those policies that will lead to increased access to care, improved efficiency and effectiveness of care, and high quality of services. Our advocacy is strictly non-partisan, and we do not advocate any specific revenue mechanism unless it is directly related to substance use disorders or mental health prevention, treatment, and recovery.

Haymarket Center is a member of the:

  • Illinois Behavioral Health Consortium
  • Illinois Association for Behavioral Health
  • Illinois Partners on Human Services
  • National Council on Behavioral Health
