Central Intake at Haymarket Center is the “front door” to all licensed treatment programs. The department is divided into the Assessment and Admissions units which combine to produce all appropriate clinical and legal documentation on clients entering substance abuse programming.
The purpose of the assessment is to determine the most appropriate level of care for the patient using ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria. Criminal justice programs serve special populations comprised of accused or adjudicated individuals referred from within the criminal justice system who are experiencing behavioral health needs, including alcohol or other drug abuse or addiction, or psychiatric disabilities or disorders.
The Medically Monitored Detoxification programs here at Haymarket Center provide medical and clinical support to the patient during their withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs. These services are offered in gender specific settings; Men’s Medically Monitored and Women’s Medically Monitored Detoxification program.
The Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient treatment programs here at Haymarket Center are separate and distinct programs that provide a scheduled series of sessions appropriate to patients identified needs. These culturally sensitive, gender specific services are provided day, evenings and on weekends.
Haymarket Center Recovery Homes are sober residential living environments dedicated to increase the likelihood of the client staying sober and abstinence from alcohol and other drugs by decreasing the potential for relapse. These programs provide services that are focused on home and community integration and engagement in safe and productive activities. This effort is put forth to enhance the clients independence, dignity, personal choice, and privacy.
Haymarket Center inpatient residential treatment programs are 24 hours a day, seven days a week structured environments that are design to provide adult patients the most optimal level of behavioral and mental health services. The frequency and intensity of clinical services include a planned regimen based on patient need for a minimum of 25 hours per week
Clients can attend 3 - 5 in-house 12-step meetings per week. Meetings vary between Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Cocaine Anonymous.
Specialty programs are Haymarket Center’s wrap around services that support those in treatment and recovery. These services include a comprehensive on-site health clinic, health wellness and management, family centered treatment, employment, training and more.
