Building on more than a decade of developing and expanding a family-centered approach to treatment, Haymarket Center launched the Family Centered Treatment for Fathers program in October, 2019. Participants are adult men of 18 or older, and are parents of children under age 18 and/or are involved with the Department of Children and Family Services.
The program is an ASAM level III.5, residential substance use disorders treatment program of 16 beds, providing more than 25 hours per week of group and individual counseling for adult men with substance use disorders.
The program also provides enhanced fatherhood programming and relationship counseling to help men improve their parenting skills, communication
skills, and financial responsibility.
